If you haven’t invested in high-definition flat screen television sets yet, Samsung is hoping to inspire your wallet to make the purchase. The Korean-based electronics company has released two brand-new widescreen plasma sets that are capable of playing 3D content. Electronic Arts has partnered with Samsung in the development of the television sets and will provide 3D content in the form of videogames.

Samsung has designed two sets sporting the 3D technology—one with a 42-inch screen (retails for $1,850 after conversion) and one with a 50-inch screen (retails for $2,656). The 50-inch screen also comes in high-definition, retailing for $4,145.
