Music Video Monday: Alison Moyet

The song that got me started on British pop sensation Alison Moyet, from BBC2’s Graham Norton Show is her performance A Guy Like You.
Formerly part of chart-topping pop-band Yazoo, which was formed with former Depeche Mode member Vince Clarke, Moyet decided in the mid-1980s to launch a solo singing career. Her single Invisible attracted a mild audience in the United Kingdom but was an instant Top 40 success in the United States.
Today, Moyet is active in British theatre, at one time starring alongside famous comedienne Dawn French in the play Smaller. Moyet composed three songs for Smaller which are featured on her seventh and latest album The Turn.
In my past life, I was a tree or something. If not a tree, something that grew old and didn't move very much. I'm pretty convinced of this.
