Fox40 Live: What Is The Station Planning?
On its website, KTXL Fox40 is running commercials similar to the one above before every single video clip plays. The clips feature words like “Refreshing,” “Excitement” and “Out Of This World,” and ends with a graphic that says “Fox40 Live,” followed by the words “It’s coming…”
But what exactly is coming? Fox40 has already made a lot of changes to its website, including the addition of a business page. In addition, the website now hosts classic Fox40 videos from past newscasts as the station crawls closer to its fortieth birthday (which happens sometime in October).
Station officials are keeping quiet about any changes happening at Fox40 (on-air or online), leaking only short promotional clips to its website and occasionally during commercial breaks. Still, one can only help but wonder…what is “Fox40 Live,” and when will it “come?” Time will have to tell.
